About Library

Pijush Kanti Mukherjee Mahavidyalaya which started its journey in 2015 is proud of its own journey. Central Library started its journey in 2019 with its rich collection. It is the heart of the learning process in the college. The main aim of our college library is to disseminate knowledge through our collection and services. Having more than 1500 books including reference books and a good number of journals/magazines the college always try to hold up its teaching learning process as well as research culture among faculties, students and staff members.

This library provides free open access to huge number of electronic journals and e-books. The library provides open access to all teachers, staff and students. A reading section with seating capacity of 30 readers provided in the library.

Services and facilities at the Library :-

  1. 1.In library all sections are given Open Access facility.
  2. 2.The newly added resources to library like books, journals, magazines, etc. are displayed for the
    convenience of students and faculty members so that they could be aware of the updated library
    collection. Newly added resources are set aside for display at least for ten days.
  3. 3.Reading room facility is available for students as well as for faculties.
  4. 4.Computer facility is available for students as well as for staff also.
  5. 5.Students can get xerox facility at a reasonable rate for the materials not issued for home
    use.
